Thanks for coming to my about me page!
I’m a junior at the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay and studies Theatre (Musical Theatre) and Democracy & Justice Studies (American Studies) with a History minor. I have lived in Green Bay, Wisconsin for my entire life, and I hope to leave sometime soon. I decided halfway through my senior year of high school that I wanted to enter theatre, so I entered the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay’s award-winning Bachelor of Arts in Theatre program in the fall of 2013. Since then, I’ve had many amazing opportunities, including puppet training for Avenue Q and a tour of the same show to the American College Theatre Festival in the winter of 2014, and attending further ACTF festivals to collaborate and make connections.
Aside from theatre, I operate as an independent journalist and commentator, often attempting to offer a personal, comedic understanding of both contemporary and historical events. My interest in writing about politics was sparked by my upbringing, as well as Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States. In 2011 and again in 2015, Scott Walker provided me with fresh ideas after assailing public sector unions and then higher education as a whole. After graduation, I hope to actually figure out what to do with my life.
